Point Judith , Narragansett: (State Fishing Access) Directions from Rt 1 north or south, exit on Rt 108 south, go to the end. The road will swing to the left and continue down to the Coast Guard Station. You will see a sign on the right for the Fishing access. Formerly Camp Cronin, a military camp, this site has a long rocky shoreline fronting the Atlantic Ocean near the Point Judith Lighthouse. This site also provides access to the east arm of the Harbor of Refuge breakwater, a popular fishing area. A large parking lot provides plenty of parking. Kayak launching requires a carry of about 200 ft to get to the beach. There are portable toilets on site during summer season, during off-season low bushes provide limited discrete privacy.
